JUNIOR  CHEF  NANTUCKET  2013

 

12:PM SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6TH AT CISCO BREWERS

 

Junior Chef, the annual culinary competition that pits three teams from Nantucket High School Culinary Arts Program against each other. 

 

Armed with a secret local ingredient and a celebrated chef from an island restaurant, the teams go to work on a three-course meal live at Cisco Brewery on Sunday October 6, 2013.

 

MC Jenny Johnson,  of NECN’s “TV Diner”, provides  dazzling  commentary as the food is prepared and tasted by the panel of esteemed judges.

 

 All proceeds from the event  support the Nantucket High School Culinary Arts program where they are used for supplies, out reach programs and financial aid.

All donations are to support the Nantucket Culinary Arts Foundation.  The Purpose of the Nantucket Culinary Arts Foundation is to directly benefit the students from the Nantucket High School Culinary Arts Program. Both in supplying equipment to the school, reach out programs between the students and our local restaurant community, financial aid in the forms of scholarships and financing the students participation in State and National culinary competition.

 

We are excited to be able to place 100% of the Funds donated at the disposal of the Program.
